Today I spent an overly long amount of time trying to retract a new fangled device (to make your life easier ha) Ram truck bedside step. I discovered because I had to, that there are at least 10 videos including “dik doks” that show me how to install and deploy the step but not how to retract it. My grand children spent less time figuring out how I got their nose than I spent figuring this step out. Surprise surprise, turns out I’m the problem. All I had to do was exert as much as or less pressure to move a tasty orange push pop up for a lick to get that damn thing back in. Ahh the golden years. Which also reminds me that I think we can save millions of dollars on Kevlar vests for the military. All we have to do is make the outer coverings out of potato chip bag plastic that is the strongest material I have encountered since the new designer depends were introduced with leak guard. Let’s talk about memory for a second. Anyway, balance is a new found skill I am trying to learn at my age. It’s like riding a bike they say, you never forget. Apparently they, whoever they are, are liars. Question how many rungs are on a ladder? Good question I can honestly say more than I can remember to use.
